A Gift I'd Give

When I was thinking about what to write for this entry not many things came to mind. That is parcailly why its taken so long for me to post this. That and the fact that I have just been a tiny bit lazy about it. I thought about different things to write about and I read a lot of other peoples entries, searching for ideas. I have said to myself from the begining that I wasnt going to write anything cheesy, and when I thought about cheesy the idea of world peace came to my mind. Im not trying to make fun of anyones entries or anything like that, I even considered writing about that. Then I finally made my decision of what to write about. The gift that I would like to give is respect. Thats right, r-e-s-p-e-c-t. Respect is a vital life lesson that everyone must learn if they are going to be successful, and the sooner you learn it the better off you will be. So that is why I would like to give this gift, so everyone could have it and we could all benefit from it. If everyone treated eachother with respect it would just make the world that much better of a place to be.

Gift

Some thoughts on a gift...
Perhaps my gift would be:
Knowledge
Love
Friendship
Kindness
Or maybe something tangible, I dont know, im still thinking things through.

To whom would recieve?
I would mainly like to give my gift to my family. Perhaps my mom, dad, brothers or sisters. Or perhaps there is a gift I could give to the whole word? Who knows.

Why? Lets see hear, I dont think I know of anybody who doesnt enjoy a nice gift from time to time.

Love Poem

Love is an interesting thing.
Sometimes you may think you have found love, but in reality your not even close.
You are actually further from love than before.
Sure, love can be found,
But not at a small price.
Sacrifices must be made on both parts.
However dont be disappointed if it doesn't seem to work out
cause love isn't always a mutual feeling although we may want it to be.
Its not that I dont believe in love.
I do think it can be found,
but my search for love continues,
and I am in so rush for it to be found.

Start From Scratch

Traveling the globe to and fro
Building legos with my bro

Lazily floating on the lake
I had a friend, his name was jake

I had many many toys
I played them daily, with my boys

Alpine is my resting place
I know five boys with the name chase

I love many kinds of sports
I also love girls with short shorts:)

Thank you for coming out to play
I really enjoyed your company today!

I Remember

I remember in third grade when we decorated our valentines day treat boxes.
I remember eating nestle treasures during silent sustained reading.
I remember my first crush, I didnt dare tell anyone about it and I never came close to talking to her.
I remember warm summer nights on the top of the houseboat, looking at the stars and enjoying the crisp morning air when the sun hit my skin.
I remember my brothers, when they were at the age that I am now, we are so much alike and I never knew it.
I remember broken bones and the day I got my first cell phone.
I rememer little toys and all my homeboys.
I remember all the cars we used to have, the scent of my brothers red bmw is still imbedded in me.
I remember new shoes and saturday morning cartoons.
I remember the cool ocean water on my skin, and the warm beach sand between my toes.

Journal Entry

Good Night (Entry #9)

As I am laying in bed, waiting to fall asleep, many thoughts run through my mind. Usually the first thing to fun through my head were events that had previously happened that day, exciting events, maybe some bad incidents, or maybe it was just a really boring day. The second thing is I ask myself, "did I have a successful day?" and I debate whether I got done what I needed to do or what I wanted to do. The third is my agenda for the next day and what I must get done. If I can squeeze something in or if I have spare time think of something I would like to do. The last thing that I may think about before I spiral into a deep sleep is I might be thinking of a specific girl that may be on my mind or somebody that I would like to get to know. If there is nobody on my mind then I usually just lay, staring at my ceiling, till I fall asleep.

sketch time

The sly, lurking cheetah stalks its prey from a distance, biding his time, licking his lips, getting ready to strike. His soft, sleek fur glowing in the hot african sun. His claws digging in the dry crackling earth below him. As his prey gets closer his vision sharpens, his muscles tensing up, getting ready to accelerate at mach speeds. His moment is getting closer and the tenacious blood thirsty cheetah gets ready to strike. His prety gets within closing distance and the sneaking speedy cheetah takes off to claim his kill...

Karl: Did mom make you hang out with me cause I have no friends?
john: Um no, of course not, what makes you think that?
Karl: Uh cause I heard her say that before we left.
john: Well that doesnt mean I didnt want to hang out with you anyways...
Karl: Alright man, whatever you say.

Karl: I dont know, I do. Why does it matter anyway?

1st page...

Exploring the world was nothing new for Atwood, but discovering an alien race living on our planet was...

He had traveled the globe going on expeditions and camping by himself and had seen everything from giant salamanders to tigers. But when he traveled to Antarctica to take an expedtition his team was disconnected with contact and got lost on the massive ice shelf with limited food and supplies. They had survived for three weeks with the provisions they had until they started dying off one by one until his twelve member team was diminished to just one.

Atwood had lost most faith in ever getting found on the ice shelf and figured he had about five days until he would be out of all supplies and helpless to carry on so he was going to try to make the best of his last days. The first day passed and he was nowhere closer to rescue than before and he awaited the next day to see if his luck got any better. As a matter of fact his luck got worse and the cold was becoming unbearable. On the fourth night Atwood was laying down trying to doze off when he was disturbed by some violent shaking coming for beneath him and thought perhaps it was an earthquake, but it subsided quickly. Then ten minutes later he heard strange noises and decided to check things out.

At first he saw nothing when he got out of his tent but as he looked around he finally noticed a faint light in the distance just over a hill about three hundred yards away so he began making his way. As Atwood got closer the strange noises became louder and louder and they sounded like nothing he had ever heard before. As he came within twenty five feet he got on all fours to crawl up the hill, and he was now within five feet off the top. Then Atwood reached the top and looked down the drop off and what he saw was something you would hope to never in your life time see. He was frozen with awe and far to scared to make any movement, he had definitely and without a doubt encountered hostile alien lifeform and didnt plan on getting away alive.

intro

Why do I write... A question I often find asking myself. I suppose one good reason as to why I write is because after I create a masterpiece I love to see people enjoy it. When you write there are no boundaries, nothing holding your mind back from a creative explosion of electrifying words and phrases. When you write you get to express a side of you that nobody else see's and that nobody else knows, and its exhilerating. You get to pretend for that short instance that your somebody else, somebody better, or someone that you desire to be. All in all writing is a great way to express your feelings, or show feelings, pretty much letting go of feelings in the long run, and that ladies and gentleman is why I write!
